Itinerary
Day 1
- Adventure begins from Sandakan airport or hotel in Sandakan.
- Head to Sepilok Orang utan Rehabilitation Centre for feeding time at 10am, spend time observing little younglings in enclosed nursery area.
- After lunch, embark on a
- 5 hour journey by speedboat up the Kinabatangan River, to Sukau Rainforest Lodge.
- Check in and refresh, go on board for late afternoon river cruise in search of wildlife and birds.
- Return to lodge for dinner, followed by a slide presentation and interpretation by a naturalist guide.

Day 2
- Rise and shine for the morning cruise up to Kinabatangan River to Kelenanap oxbow lake to view more birds and wildlife.
- Back to lodge for breakfast.
- Join in the nature walk along the lodge's Hornbill Boardwalk with the in-house naturalist.
- Free at leisure till late afternoon for another river cruise.

Day 3
- After breakfast, check out and continue on a 2 hours overland journey to Borneo Rainforest Lodge.
- Enjoy lunch upon arrival and check in.
- In the evening a slide show and explore nature trail to canopy walkway.
- If weather permits, go for spotlighting to view some of the nocturnal animal.

Day 4
- Spend the whole day exploring the forest for birds and mammals, leading up to an escarpment with ancient burial coffins.
- Trek to waterfall for a refreshing dip in rock pools.
- Return to lodge for lunch.
- In the afternoon, explore more trails.
- Night walk if weather permit.

Day 5
- Free at leisure until check out.
- Transfer to Lahad Datu airport, take the late afternoon flight back to Kota Kinabalu.
