Itinerary
Day 1
- Arrive in Kota Kinabalu International Airport, greet and transfer to your accommodation and explore the city on your own.
- Overnight stay in Kota Kinabalu.
Day 2
- After breakfast, briefing on the overall programs.
- Check-out and transfer to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park.
- The park consists of two components: zoological and botanical.
- The main objective of the park is to become a family-oriented park and the emphasis is put on the Children’s Zoo.
- Among the inhabitants of the zoo (zoological component) are the Borneo Pygmy elephants, Sumatran rhinoceros, Orang Utan, Proboscis monkey, Malayan tiger, as well as some different species of deer.
- Thereafter continue driving to Tambunan District.
- Check-in accommodation and begin to explore the surrounding.
- Overnight stay in Tambunan.
Day 3
- After breakfast, transfer to Mahua Waterfall begin to explore the tropical rainforest.
- If you are lucky, you may even spot a blooming rafflesia, the largest flower in the world.
- Rest of the afternoon spend your time at the waterfall for cool and refreshing swims.
- Continue to visit native villages and mingle with the natives as you walk around their village.
- Return to your accommodation and rest of the activities will be advised by Tour Guide.
- Overnight stay in Tambunan.
Day 4
- After breakfast, check out and transfer Sinua Village for the Mt.
- Trusmadi climb activity.
- Start trekking to Base Camp 2 (8 km).
- Rest and overnight at Trusmadi Resthouse.
Day 5
- Midnight supper.
- Start ascending at
- 30am to reach summit.
- Watch sunrise at the peak of Mount Trusmadi (2642 a.s.l).
- Return to Base Camp 1, rest and overnight at Trusmadi Resthouse.
Day 6
- Check-out and begin overland drive to Sandakan.
- Visit Luanti Fish Spa en route.
- Arrive Sandakan, free at own arrangement.
- Overnight at Sandakan.
Day 7
- After breakfast, visit Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre, walk ten minutes through the rainforest on wooden boardwalks to witness the feeding of the orang utan at
- 1000hrs.
- Overland transfer to Kg.
- Bilit, Kinabatangan.
- Take a river cruise along Kinabatangan River in search of wildlife and birds.
- Overnight at KINABATANGAN WILDLIFE LODGE.
Day 8
- Take morning river cruise up the to view more birds and wildlife.
- More activities will be arranged at the village.
- Stay another night at KINABATANGAN WILDLIFE LODGE.
Day 9
- After breakfast, overland transfer to Kota Marudu.
- Arrive Kota Marudu, Check in and proceed with river bathing and short trail to Makam Sigunting.
- Overnight at Walai Tobilung.
Day 10
- After breakfast, depart to Sg.
- Baliajong Geosite for a short visit.
- After lunch, proceed to Community Craft making centre.
- Overnight at Walai Tobilung.
Day 11
- After breakfast, visit Gong making centre.
- After lunch, proceed journey back to Kota Kinabalu.
- Free at own arrangement.
- Overnight at Kota Kinabalu.
Day 12
- Tree at own arrangement.
- Overnight at Kota Kinabalu.
Day 13
- After breakfast, transfer to Jesselton Point jetty for your Island trip.
- Snorkelling / diving activity, other water activities available on the island.
- Return to Jesselton Point jetty late afternoon.
- Farewell dinner.
- Overnight at Kota Kinabalu.
Day 14
- After breakfast, free at own arrangement before check out and transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport for flight departure.
