Itinerary
Day 1
- Drive 83km from Lahad Datu airport to the award-winning nature lodge, Borneo Rainforest Lodge.
- In the evening a slide show and explore nature trail to canopy walkway.
- If weather permits, we go spotlighting to view some of the nocturnal animals.
Day 2
- Spend the whole day exploring the forest for birds and mammals, leading up to an escarpment with ancient burial coffins.
- Trek to waterfall for a refreshing dip in rock pools.
- Return to lodge for lunch.
- In the afternoon, explore more trails
Day 3
- Free at leisure until check out.
- Depart back to Lahad Datu.
- Take the late afternoon flight back to Kota Kinabalu.
