Itinerary
Day 1
- Discover the Beauty of the Atlas Mountains.
- After picking you up from your accommodation in Marrakech, we'll hit the road, headed for the Tizi- N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains.
- You will get to experience a winding road, beautiful landscapes with different colors, and Berber villages along the way.
- Our first stop will be in Ait Barka Village to take beautiful pictures while having breakfast.
- It’s our starting point to begin the ascent to the highest Atlas Mountains of Morocco, Tizi N Tchka, where will also make a stop.
- We'll then continue onto the UNESCO World Heritage-listed, Ait Ben Hadou where you will be guided by a local guide to explain the history of its amazing heritage before the time for lunch.
- Then we're off again, continuing via Ouarzazate, Skoura palm grove, the Rose Valley, then to the Dades valley and gorges.
- Here, you'll stay in a typical Moroccan hotel, located in the heart of gorges.
Day 2
- Gaze at a Blanket of Stars in the Sahara.
- After a delicious Moroccan breakfast, we'll begin the journey along the road of 1000 Kasbahs, driving around and through the colorful Berber villages of the Dades Valley.
- In Tineghir, we'll explore its famed beautiful palm groves and Jewish quarter before arriving in the Todra Gorges (Todgha) where you'll have free time to go on a trek along the canyons about 300 m high - a favorite for mountain climbers.
- Afterward, we'll continue onto the Erg Chebbi Dunes in the Merzouga Sahara Desert.
- Upon arrival, you will take a camel ride at sunset to get to the oasis where your camp is located.
- Spend the night in the bivouac in Merzouga Sahara Dunes under nomadic tents or outside under shooting stars while playing drums with your camel drivers.
- It is here where we'll spend the night.
Day 3
- Camel Riding in the Village of Merzouga Today you will have to wake up very early in the morning to see what will may be the best sunrise of your life.
- You will set over the Sand Dunes of Sahara of Erg Chebbi to watch wonderful sunrise.
- After watching the sunrise you will go down to the Camp for breakfast.
- Then you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to the village of Merzouga.
- While enjoying morning camel ride you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses.
- Once you arrive the village of Merzouga, you will meet the driver again to continue the tour to Ouarzazat via Nkoub Oasis and Daraa valley.
- Nkob is the only Moroccan village with more than forty kasbahs.
- The old part of the village still contains many old impressive kasbahs, all constructed in mud in front of the oasis and the Jbel (mountain) Saghro.
- Daraa Valley is located at the south of the Atlas Mountains and it is the largest palm grove in the world, a green corridor 200 kilometers long and 18 wide that runs from Agdz.
- Overnight at the Hotel / Riad in Ouarzazate.
Day 4
- In Ouarzazate you can enjoy the visit of Museum of the cinema, Cenima Studios and the kasbah of Taourirte.
- Then continue the road till the ksbah of Telouet also calls Glaoui palace.
- Is a Kasbah along the former roud of the caravans from Sahara over the atlas mountains to Marrakech.
- The Kasbah was the seat of El Glaoui family’s power.
- Thats why also somtimes called the palace of Glaoui.
- Back to marrakech after breakfast.
- Lunch will be in Atlas Moutains.
- The continue back to Marrakech.
