Itinerary
- Embark on an adventure to explore nature up close.
- Departing from the Santo Amaro dock, we head out in search of birds in their natural habitat.
- Our versatile semi-rigid boats allow us to get closer to wildlife so you can observe bird species, with an experienced ornithologist on board.
- Sailing along the Tagus River, we pass next to the 25th of April Bridge, heading upstream, offering you stunning views of the Lisbon skyline and the saltmarshes therein.
- Spend up to two and a half hours with our crew, getting as close as possible to the areas where migratory and resident bird species rest, nest and hunt.
- Look out for species like Flamingos, Spoonbills, Oystercatchers, Herons, Egrets, Ducks, Waders or kites.
- We’ll have fun watching rare birds, learning to distinguish their differences, social habits, and other fascinating details.
- Get your cameras and binoculars ready! Our tours last 2 to
- 5 hours, at the end of which we return to the Santo Amaro dock with a short stop in front of Alfama and the Commerce Square.
- This activity can only be done in certified and licenced boat companies to observe and respect wildlife in their natural habitat.

Your skipper and guide will meet you in front of Gate 3, 15 minutes prior to your ticket time for check-in.
We have tours twice a week: at 10:00 so 09:30 is our meeting time
We use fast RIBs for this activity, the most adequate, comfortable and safe for approaching wildlife. Each boat is equipped with a 300 HP engine and go through a rigorous maintenance, safety and engine checks monthly schedule. Our crew is from Lisbon and know the Tagus waters and shallows like the back of their hands.
Both passengers and crew must wear a lifejacket throughout the tour. SeaEO Tours only goes out with safe wind and waves conditions.Our tour is not allowed for pregnant women or people with severe back or hip issues.
SeaEO cannot be held responsible in case this information is omitted to the crew and anything happens to a pregnancy or any previous health condition is aggravated during or after our tour.
We do not allow children under 5 years of age.
No touching, feeding or getting in the water is allowed, as per European Cetacean Rules.
