Itinerary
Day 1
- Welcome to the Philippines’ capital – Manila! and transfer to the hotel for accommodation.
- Rest of the day to be spent at your own leisure.
Day 2
- After breakfast, travel two and a half hours drive south of Manila takes you to Pagsanjan, Laguna.
- Shoot the rapids on dugout canoes and experience nature’s wonders.
- Be prepared to board a native banca (canoe) skillfully driven by boatman amidst steep gorges and lush tropical vegetation.
- Your destination – the magnificent Pagsanjan Waterfalls.
- Take a swim or board a bamboo raft through the falls into a cave right behind its veil of water.
- Back to the hotel in the mid-afternoon.
- Overnight accommodation.
Day 3
- After breakfast, check out of the hotel and meet local guide for a tour of Old Manila and Historical Landmarks.
- Come take a tour of Manila's past.
- We head to the old city of Manila through the picturesque Roxas Boulevard, passing through Rizal Park on its way to the “Walled City” of Intramuros.
- Here you will see ancient walls, church ruins and other relics of the Spanish conquistadors.
- Wander the cobbled streets to the San Agustin Church, the oldest stone church in the country.
- We then finished the tour with a visit to Fort Santiago, a Spanish fortress that guarded the entrance to Manila's Pasig River.
- It was here where our national hero Jose Rizal spent his last days and where he wrote his famous "My Last Farewell".
- Visit the oldest Chinatown in the world - Binondo.
- Located across the river from the walled city of Intramuros, it was positioned so that colonial rulers could keep a close eye on their migrant subjects.
- After the tour, proceed to the domestic airport for flight to Panglao, Bohol.
- Upon arrival, meet airport representative and transfer to hotel for check in.
- Overnight accommodation.
Day 4
- After breakfast, we will start with a pass to the Blood Compact Site where the Spaniards and Filipinos created friendly relations and ties through a blood ritual.
- We will head towards the Baclayon Church, considered one of the oldest stone churches in the country dating back to the early 16th century.
- Watch local craftsmen as they make handmade metal crafts and weave Nipa leaves into roofing materials in the town of Loay.
- Cruise along the Loboc River.
- Enjoy lunch on board and watch the amazing landscape pass by.
- We proceed to Carmen and feel the coolness of the air and gaze at the thousands of painstakingly planted mahogany trees in the reforestation of Bilar.
- From there, and keep your eyes open for a tarsier, the smallest primate in the world.
- Feast your eyes on the breathtaking Chocolate Hills, a collection of over 1,200 clustered green hills that turn brown during dry season.
- Back to the hotel in the mid-afternoon.
- Overnight accommodation.
Day 5
- Collect your boxed breakfast for an early morning boat trip on board a motorized outrigger boat brings you to the seawaters around Pamilacan Island, southeast of Tagbilaran City.
- The water around Pamilacan Island is home to at least six species of whales and dolphins.
- One interesting aspect of this tour is that the boat crew and “spotters” for this tour are former whale hunters.
- Now specially trained, they gave up their traditional livelihood in favor of preserving and protecting the environment.
- Proceed to Balicasag Island for swimming and snorkeling whose coral reef and sea turtles lies just off-shore.
- Picnic lunch is served in the boat.
- Back to the hotel in the afternoon.
- Free time at leisure.

Day 6
- After breakfast, hotel check out and transfer to seaport for a two hour ferry trip to Cebu.
- Upon arrival, meet local guide then discover the charm of Cebu on an exciting tour of the city's major historical landmarks.
- Cebu‘s icon, Magellan’s Cross, is the first stop of the tour.
- Placed in Cebu City by Ferdinand Magellan in 1521, the cross symbolized Cebu's Christianization and rule by King Phillip of Spain.
- The tour then proceeds to the Basilica Minore del Santo Nino de Cebu, home of the image of Jesus as a Child, a gift from Magellan to Queen Juana, the first Christian Filipina.
- Next we visit Fort San Pedro situated in Plaza Independencia.
- A coral stone fortress originating from 1565, the fort protected the city that became the first Spanish settlement in Asia.
- The impressive structure is the oldest Spanish fort in the Philippines.
- A visit to National Museum of the Philippines – Cebu showcasing the heritage and artistry of the Cebuanos.
- Proceed to Carbon Market is oldest an open-air market in Central Visayas offering a wide selection of locally produced goods, right in the heart of city.
- Then you'll drive down the country’s oldest street, Colon Street to Plaza Parian completes the tour of the Cebu City’s heritage sites.
- Proceed to hotel for check in.
- Free time at leisure and overnight accommodation.
Day 7
- Hotel breakfast, free time at leisure until check out then transfer to the international airport for departure.
