Located in Ninh Binh province, 100 km southeast of Hanoi, Hoa Lu and Tam Coc are two of the most beautiful places in the North. For 41 years, from 968 to 1009 CE, Hoa Lu was the ancient capital of Vietnam. The nearby Tam Coc is often called "Ha Long among the rice fields". Visitors are taken by rowboat along the peaceful Tam Coc stream through green fields and foothills into the cave entrance, where they encounter new surprises, like stalactites and stalagmites that sparkle like gems just an inch from the water.

Itinerary
Day 1
- 07h00-07h30: The bus and tour guide pick you up in the Old Quarter area and the Opera House departing for Ninh Binh.
- 10h30: Arriving in Ninh Binh, you visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu (the capital of Vietnam in the 10th century), visit the temple of King Dinh, King Le.
- Visit the excavation area next to Le Dai Hanh temple, take in the scenery in the beautiful Truong Yen valley to enjoy the amazing landscapes.
- 11h30: Arriving at Mua Cave, you will walk through winding paths covered with greenery and beautiful hiking architecture and then the journey to conquer the top of Mua Cave with 500 stone steps.
- Arriving at the top of Mua Mountain, in your eyes are all the heaven and earth of the vast land of Hoa Lu with a peaceful but splendid look like a watercolor painting that makes many people unable to hold back their hearts and burst with emotions.
- On the journey back, you will pass the Lotus Dam area located among the limestone mountains creating an extremely poetic and ancient scene.
- You can rent antique clothes to take pictures here.
- 13h00: You go to the restaurant to rest for lunch.
- 14h00: Depart to visit Trang An eco-tourism area, which has beautiful scenery, you will take a small boat to visit Trang An, you will see the majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious but attractive caves, as well as the beautiful scenery of the countryside, like peaceful streams, rice fields and desolate green fields.
- Take a boat to visit the cave complex: Terang Cave, Dark Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Wine Cooking Cave in the mystery and wildness, admire the scenery of the mountains and rivers of Ha Long on the land of Ninh Binh.
- 17h00: You get on the bus back to Hanoi.
- 19h30: Arrive in Hanoi.
