Description
Biking is exhilarating in this environment and is a great way to get the body moving and motivated for exploring cenotes and jumping in some cool, freshwater. Please note you must feel comfortable on a bike as well as consider yourself capable of cycling a minimum of 5 miles/ 9 km on a mountain bike with changes of gears.
We will explore 2 different cenotes, have a whole lot of fun while riding through the jungle. You will also learn a lot about the local environment and how the cenotes formed, as well as their importance throughout the millennia to all the residents of the Yucatan peninsula.

Itinerary
Day 1
- 9:00am Meet at Mexico Kan Tours Office on the main Avenue of Tulum Cycle through Tulum streets, then out of town and into the jungle on quiet forest paths.
- Have fun jumping & diving in cenote cristal, then cycle onto fantastic snorkeling in cenote Escondido.
- Delicious jungle lunch in an exclusive setting.
- Chill out overlooking the canopy on the treetop platform, or by the water at the cenote on the premises.
- 1:30pm return to the starting point

You must be able to ride a bike comfortably: distance aprox 5miles/9kms
Basic swimming skills required
Easy terrain for biking - some road - some trail, can be muddy.
Challenging MTB trail optional.
We recommend to bring :
Sport shoes / sneakers or sport sandals. (DO NOT wear flip flops)
Wear long sleeve clothing to protect yourself from the sun & mosquitoes.
Insect repellent, biodegradable/eco friendly (available at our office on departure).
Swimwear
Sun glasses
Towel
Camera and water protection
Some cash (Please note that there are no ATMs in the area, the vendors don't accept card payments. It is customary to tip guides and field crew as a thank you for excellent service.)
You will be maximum 10 people in the van, plus the guide, plus the driver.
Most of our group tours require a minimum of 4 people to run the tour. If we do not hit this minimum, we reserve the right to cancel the tour, in which case we will contact you to offer an alternative tour or send a refund.
In case of cancellation more than 24 hrs before the pickup, we do not charge you any cost and will give you back your deposit.
In case of cancellation between 24 and 12 hrs before the pickup México Kan Tours will take your deposit in order to pay for the costs already made.
In case of cancellation less than 12 hrs before the pick up or in case of no show we will charge you 100% of the total amount of your tour.
