Itinerary
Day 1
- You will arrive at Mexico City International Airport, where we will meet you and transfer you to your accommodation.
Day 2
- You will begin your journey by admiring the majestic architecture of the Palace of Fine Arts, strolling along the pedestrian-friendly Francisco I.
- Madero Street, and visiting the iconic Plaza de la Constitución, also known as the Zócalo.
- The Metropolitan Cathedral will be another highlight of your visit.
- Here, you can marvel at its stunning altarpieces and distinctive architecture.
- Afterwards, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Templo Mayor, the ruins of Tenochtitlan, the ancient capital of the Aztec Empire.
- The tour continues at the Museum of Anthropology, where you will explore the famous Aztec Hall and learn about the history of this great Mexican civilization.
- Along the way to the museum, you will also have the chance to appreciate the Reforma Avenue and its iconic monuments, including the Angel of Independence and the statue of Cuauhtémoc (the last Aztec emperor).
Day 3
- This experience begins with a walk through the Plaza de las Tres Culturas.
- Here, you will visit the Church of Santiago Apostol, contemplate the ruins of Tlatelolco and visit the monument in honor of the 1968 student movement.
- After a brief trip, you will be in the State of Mexico to explore the archaeological complex of Teotihuacan.
- For 2 hours, you will explore part of the archaeological site and learn about the history of this magnificent pre-Hispanic city.
- Although access to the tops of the pyramids of the Sun and the Moon is not allowed, you will be able to see them up close and appreciate their impressive architecture.
- In addition, you will visit a handicrafts workshop.
- There you will have the opportunity to taste pulque, one of Mexico's oldest traditional beverages, and receive an explanation about obsidian.
- You will also be able to use the restrooms.
- As a third activity in Teotihuacan, you will have time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
- To conclude your guided tour, you will explore the Basilica complex.
- You will ascend Tepeyac Hill, the site where Mary is believed to have appeared to Juan Diego, and discover the Chapel of the Roses.
- From this point, you will enjoy a panoramic view of Mexico City.
- You will also have the opportunity to visit the Modern Basilica, which houses the sacred tilma of Juan Diego.
Day 4
- In order to provide a punctual departure from the hotel to the Mexico City International Airport, our transfer will be available at the time you request.
